David DeYoung

>>Where the heck are you now?

Minneapolis, MN

>>Are you married? Single? What have you been up to all these years?

Blessedly single. Wine, women & song pretty much sums it up. (That’s sex, drugs & rock and roll for the neophytes.)

>>What on earth do you do for a living? On earth I work in IT for a multi-national corporation.

Otherwise I write about music and theater and take a lot of pictures.

>>Last time you were in Monmouth?

Xmas, 2007.

>>How do you explain "Zippers" to people?

No one’s ever asked.

>>Favorite motion picture of all time?

Narrows it down too much. Citizen Kane, Bladerunner, and A Clockwork Orange are up there.

>>You've come this far, how bout an email address for folks to keep in contact with ya?

david@deyoung.com

(easiest way is to follow my microblog on Twitter - http://twitter.com/howwastheshow/)

>>Do you have your own website? You may plug it here....

The mothership is http://www.howwastheshow.com/ (Hundreds of live show reviews. And 3 ugly ones.)

Finally, any current/old photos to share?

1. 1981: Punk Rock Digest magazine cover as “Pi.”
2. 1986: Graduation photo from Grinnell
3. with Bart Blum, Christmas in Monmouth, ’06...photographed by Greg Thow, I believe.
(ed.note: Wasn't this summer of '07?? But yes, I did take the photo...)

4. With site editor Andrea at HowWasTheShow 5 year anniversary party, summer 2007.
5.Captured by paparazzi in early 2008.
