Daniel Conrad

>>Where the heck are you now?

I live in St. George's, Grenada in the Caribbean part of the year and Powell, Ohio (suburb of Columbus) part of the year. Our home is Powell but my wife is in medical school in Grenada.

>>Are you married? Single? Secretly a cult member? What have you been up to all these years?

Married 16 glorious years to Nicole. We have four children: Noelle 8, Christian 4, Sophie 2, and Pascal 2 months (as of June 09)

Went to Earlham College. Later U of I for graduate school. Lived in the United Arab Emirate, the former Czechoslovakia, Princeton, New Jersey, Washington, DC (Michael Cavanaugh and I were neighbors and never knew it) and finally central Ohio.

>>
What on earth do you do for a living?

I work for the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. Luckily I am able to telecommute from Columbus and Grenada. My title is Principal Assessment Specialist which means I create and produce content language testing programs.

>>Last time you were in Monmouth?

My parents moved away in 1988. Last time I was in Monmouth was spring 2004. I had a week-long meeting in Iowa City and one afternoon I drove over, parked the car in front of the IV and walked around. Unfortunately I didn't run into
anyone I knew. Although there were a few doors I was tempted to knock on.

>>How do you explain "Zippers" to people?

The name zippers doesn't get as much interest as the fact that they renovated the high school with us in it!

>>Favorite motion picture of all time?

Favorite movie, and I'm passionate about movies, is The Kite Runner, a relatively recent movie.

>>You've come this far.. how bout an email address for folks to keep in contact with ya?
