Married - Husband Jeff (not related to Def). Moved to Delaware after college. Have 3 teenage daughters. (Alison 19 - attending Univ. of New England in Maine, Jamie 16 - Sophomore in High School, Melissa 14 - 8th grader) Moved back to Bloomington in 1998.

Just recently took a full time job as an administrative assistant for Integrity Technology Solutions.

>>How do you explain "Zippers" to people?

I try not to! Makes for fun conversation at parties especially if you want people to think you are a total whack job!!!! I always wondered why we had a bear as a mascot when we were the zippers.

(ed. note: from Wikipedia - Originally known as The Maroons, the Zipper nickname came about in the late 1930s when the school had a fast basketball team that would "Zip" up and down the court. Earl Bennett, a sports writer nicknamed them "The Zippers" and the name stuck. As for the bear... you're on your own....)
