>>Where the heck are you now?
Cleveland area. (It was supposedly a promotion to get me here about 7 yrs ago. Cleveland? Really? Actually it is a very nice metro area to raise a family and there is basically zero traffic compared to Chicago.)
>>Are you married? Single? What have you been up to all these years?
Married to Joan. Met in college and have been married 21yrs. We have two daughters. One is almost 16 (Heaven help us!) and I find myself worrying about all the creepy dudes that are just like I was at that age. I think I have her convinced that all guys think about only one thing and nothing good comes from it. My youngest is almost 7 and she is going to be the future ruler of the universe. If not that, we will all be working for her someday for sure. Actually, both are wonderful, strong minded, big hearted, beautiful girls that have Jesus in their hearts and are genuinely good people.
>>What on earth do you do for a living?
I left MHS to go to the Univ of Iowa for an electrical engineering degree and then I was planning on an Air Force career. Plans changed a little when the military was downsizing about the time I was coming out of college so I went into the civilian world and spent 10yrs in Air Force Reserves as an officer. I finally decided I had drank enough beer and that Milwaukee wasn't going to get invaded anyway, so I stepped away from the Air Force. That was about 11 yrs ago. I utilized my education and worked as an electronics design engineer for a few years, moved into management, then moved into the sales side of business. I am a district sales manager for Linear Technology. LTC is a California-based semiconductor manufacturer so I still occasionally use my electrical engineering degree. I have a sales team in a few states and Eastern Canada so my passport is well used, aye.
>>Last time you were in Monmouth?
I was there last fall. Why, are the cops still looking for me?
(ed. note: Yes, something about parking tickets...)
>>How do you explain "Zippers" to people?
I try not to. I just tell them our motto was "you can't get our zippers down" but that actually is a lie too.
>>Favorite motion picture of all time?
"Top Gun"
>>You've come this far.. how bout an email address for folks to keep in contact with ya?
tsloanltc@aol.com
>>Finally, any current/old photos to share?
On the wrong computer for that. Will have to send some later.
